    Description

    10/100M adaptive fast Ethernet optical media converter is a new product used for optical transmission via high-speed Ethernet. It is capable of switching between twisted pair and optical and relaying across 10/100 Base-TX and 100 Base-Fx network segments, meeting long-distance, high-speed and high-broadband fast Ethernet workgroup users’ needs, achieving high-speed remote interconnection for up to 120 km's relay-free computer data network. We can offer dual fiber multi-mode as well single fiber single-mode.

    Media converters can be used anywhere in the network to integrate newer technology with existing equipment to support new applications, technologies and future growth. Instead of costly, across-the-board upgrades, media converters can extend the productive life of the existing cabling as well as the active equipment.

    Installation:


    Attach fiber cable from the converter to the fiber network. The fiber connections must be matched – transmit socket to receive socket.

    Attach a UTP cable from the 1000BASE-T network to the RJ-45 port on the converter.

    Connect the power adapter to the converter and check that the Power LED lights up. The TP-Link and RX LEDs will light up when all the cable connections are satisfactory.
